Changes in Release 5.0.3

RowPro 5 is a major new release that for the first time includes both a Windows version (coming soon) and a native Mac OSX version. The major changes from 4.3 are:

• The Mac version of RowPro runs in OSX 10.10.4 and higher, the Windows version (coming soon) runs in Windows 7 and higher.
• Completely new user interface with a mix of local and online functions.
• A completely new RowPro online logbook that RowPro uploads results to automatically.
• A completely new online training system that replaces the one previously built into RowPro, enabling plans to be downloaded directly into RowPro.
• A revamped Oarbits online that replaces the one previously built into RowPro.
• Direct access to Oarbits online, RowPro online logbook, online training plans and online rowfiles from within RowPro.
• A revamped Rowfile Library that enables Rowfiles to be downloaded directly into RowPro.
• RowPro is now activated by a product key - this replaces the license that was used to activate earlier versions.
• RowPro product keys can now be purchased via a choice of either monthly plans, 1-3 year plans, or permanent keys.
• Session Setup is renamed Set up a Row, and the Control Center is now replaced with the Logbook, Training, Tools and Preferences.
• The Oarbits App for iOS and Android is now replaced with a RowPro App that includes Oarbits.
• This first release of RowPro 5 is single erg only and English only. Multi-erg and multi-language will be added next.
• The data on PM3 and PM4 LogCards can no longer be imported into RowPro 5.
• The data on PM5 USB Flash Drives can be imported (coming soon) into your RowPro online logbook by plugging the USB Flash Drive into your USB port.
• A number of bugs in previous RowPro versions are now resolved.

• It is now possible to row online in 2D again.
• Pace boats now leave the start line correctly in time rows.
• The Pace Bar on the right side of the screen now correctly displays information in columns.

• RowPro now works with Concept2 PM5 Performance Monitors.
• A beginner assist panel now appears the first time RowPro is started.
• The information that appears in the Pace Bar at the right of the 3D display during Venue and Online rows can now be customized in RowPro Control Center | System Settings. Additional options include Heart Rate (Venue only), Stroke Rate and Watts.
• A number of bugs in previous RowPro versions are now resolved.

• The computer's CPU is now released more fully when RowPro is minimised.
• The information visible when uploading results to Concept2 Online Logbooks now updates properly.
